The Perfect Time

There is no better time to end it all than now.
…when some friends are clueless of what could have possibly made me take it
…while other friends have a pretty good number of reasons to enumerate
…when, for those who have plenty of reasons, can not exactly pinpoint which of
my predicaments did it because there are just too many yet too little
…when there is nothing left but the longing for blank spaces to surround me
…when I see no one
…when there is too much yet none to share it with
…when I can not see even me..

It’s time.

ESSENTIAL

A child to a mother
As water to plant

A chalk to a blackboard
As words to book

An audience to performing artists
As electricity to TV sets

As me to you
And you to me

One can’t live without the other
As each on its own lacks meaning and purpose
..and probably, happiness.

Moonlight in the Dark

In the darkest time of my life everything near me got stepped on as I aimlessly, carelessly wandered about. The same darkness mercilessly enveloped us, making its creatures crawl in oblivion. Unfathomable pain caused unimaginable reactions. Then, the wind brought sunshine to the groping willow.

Alas, it wasn’t me. How can someone easily replace the source of light.. the happiness.. the sanctity of shared dreams.?

Please… if I can’t be your sunshine, let me be at least your moonlight in the dark.. a symbol of hope and humility.. which may give way to a renewed life..
